Man’s best friend. Kochia’s archnemesis.

Meet Huskie™ PRE, Western Canada’s first Group 27 cereal pre-burn and pre-emergent herbicide. It’s designed to be tank-mixed with Roundup WeatherMAX® herbicide with Transorb® II Technology, Roundup Transorb® HC herbicide, and Roundup R/T 540® herbicide for powerful, fast-acting early-season control of tough broadleaf weeds, including herbicide-resistant species. Rapid burn down activity from Group 6 bromoxynil paired with Group 27 pyrasulfotole, helps you put broadleaf weeds in the doghouse.

On Guard All Season

In addition to outstanding pre-burn broadleaf weed control, incorporating Huskie PRE into your pre-burn lineup has been shown to improve uptake of in-crop applications of bromoxynil. The graph below shows 97.1% kochia control 14 days after using Huskie PRE + Roundup, followed by in-crop application of Varro® FX + Buctril® M. In comparison, when using only Varro FX and Buctril M without a pre-burn control, the results showed a lower rate of 67.8% kochia Control.

Effective weed control

Resistant weed management

Integrated

herbicide management

Broad-spectrum, early weed control reduces competition for limited spring resources such as nutrients, water, and sunlight. This leads to better growth and higher yield potential.

As herbicide resistant weed pressure continues to expand, kochia weed management tank-mix partners from Groups 4, 6, 14, 15, and 27 are critical to successful population control.

Early spring management reduces the reliance on in-crop applications, plus supports proper crop and weed staging for in-crop applications to help optimize efficacy and performance.
